NAUI UNDERWATER ECOLOGIST Specialty Course

In this course, you will learn to identify the marine life of the area in which you dive -- in this case, the Pacific Northwest!

Tiger Rockfish

In the beginning, you'll rely on field guides and other reference materials to identify some of the creatures you have observed on your dives.

Basket Star

With each and every dive, you'll become more proficient at identifying what you have seen.

Blackeye Goby

And on every dive, you'll not only start to see creatures you are familiar with...

Wolf Eel

...but new ones as well.

Giant Pacific Octopus

And in searching for more species to identify...

Giant Pacific Octopus

...you'll become much more observant of this new realm as you explore it!

Orange Peel Nudibranch

After taking this course, you'll be much more familiar with what you see on your dives!

Clown Nudibranch

You'll also learn some of the natural histories of these animals in the process!

Giant Nudibranch

And feel more at one with the sea!
